Protech Centerform Excels in 2006

ExxonMobil (Germany) awards Protech 5 year contract to supply centralizers for its slim hole sidetracks.

Chevron has selected Protech to furnish centralizers for the first phase of its Tahiti Project in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico during 2006.

BP has indicated that it will continue to use Protech centralizers on the production risers for its Holstein Phase 2 Development late in 2006.

Kerr McGee has conducted a field test in a GOM well using Protech’s CRB7 Carbon Fiber / Ceramic material molded to the drill pipe in order to protect the casing from wear during drilling. More information will be made available later this year.

Eni has successfully used Protech’s CRB7 material to protect aluminum drill pipe from abrasive wear during a drilling operation in Italy.

Shell has sucessfully used Protech’s CRB7 material during liner drilling operations in the deepwater GOM

Chevron (Aberdeen, Scotland) has successfully installed two slotted liners with Protech centralizers molded to the slotted liner itself.

Eni (Kazakstan) will begin using Protech centralizers in the late spring for the Lean Profile wells that are to be drilled over the next several years.
