The liner was run but not cemented when the rig was evacuated for Hurricane Katrina. Operations resumed 10 days after the hurricane passed. The pipe was not differentially stuck and circulation was immediately established. An excellent cement job was accomplished, proving that the Protech “C” shaped centralizer blades kept the pipe off the hole wall.
